Recommy data protection policy

1. General
   1. Data protection policy (The Policy) is followed by Recommender OÜ (Recommy) and persons, who use Recommy e-service, at the web address www.recommy.com
   2. The Policy determines, how Recommy can use the data of the Customer and the end customer while providing the service.
2. Definitions
   1. The Customer – a legal entity or physical person who has signed a contract with Recommy and who is using Recommy’s service to ask feedback from its end customers.
   2. The End Customer – a person, from whom The Customer asks feedback using Recommy service
   3. The Data – personal data or ohter Customer data that come to Recommy’s knowledge through providing the service.
3. Recommy data protection policy
   1. Recommy protects the Data according to the laws governing data protection (from here on: The Law) and good business practices.
   2. Data protection is very important for Recommy and Recommy uses the required organizational, physical and IT measures to protect the completeness, availability and confidentiality of Data.
   3. Recommy can Access the Data on the Customer account only for solving technical problems, system development and administration.
   4. Recommy cannot copy or give access to the Data to third parties in any other means without the consent of the Customer.
   5. Employees of Recommy, who have Access to Customer and end customer Data are following Data protection rules and procedures and are responsible for following these obligations.
4. Customers responsibilities in ensuring Data security
   1. The Customer must use Recommy e-service securely and with care and ensure, that its devices (e.g. smartphone, Computers) are secure. The Customer must protect its username and password and ensure that others don’t get access to Recommy with its user credentials.
   2. The Customer acknowledges that Recommy cannot secure the Data and is not responsible for the security of the Data if the Customer violates its obligations mentioned in item 4.1.
5. Duration of storing the Data
   1. Recommy stores the Data as long as it is necessary to ensure the Data protection Policy or according to the deadlines set in the Law.
6. Customers rights concerning the usage and storing of the Data
   1. The Customer can see the stored end Customer Data on its Recommy account by using the search function.
   2. The Customer has the right to demand the correction, closing or deletion of the Data on its account.
   3. The Customer can contact Recommy at info@recommy.com to request information or changes in Data.

This Recommy data protection policy version 1.0 came into force on 01.01.2018.
